"Nuclear Medicine Society of Thailand" was found in 1987. The main objectives of the Society are to :

• exchange knowledge, experience and research idea among members in the field of nuclear medicine,
• provide knowledge, in the form of scientific meeting, publication and personal contact, to members, medical personnel and general public,
• support and encourage by any mean to put forward the nuclear medicine knowledge and technology in Thailand,
• co-operate with other professional medical organizations both in Thailand and oversea in academic and research activities.
• not involve in any political activity.

Committee

Committee are elected by members of the society. The committe is in 2-year term. Current board of committe was elected in year 2007 A.C. and will be in position until 2009 A.C. Current Board of Committee consist of :

Member

Currently there are approximately 150 members of the Society. Members consist of medical doctors, scientists, and other medical personnel. To become member one needs to apply with the recommendation by two active members. Then the application will be approved by board of committee.
